1. Preheat oven to 325 ° F
2. Remove the ham from the wrapper and all packaging materials
3. Place the ham in a shallow baking pan
4. Add 1 cup on water to the pan
5. Cover with foil
6. Bake for 17-20 minutes per pound [Approximately 6 hours for large bone-in ham, 5 1/2 hours for whole supertrim ham and 3 hours for half supertrims and portions**]
7. The ham is done when a properly calibrated thermometer inserted into the center of the ham for 15 seconds, reads 160 ° F
8. Let the ham rest for 15 minutes before slicing
9. Refrigerate any leftovers promptly
